Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! All you have to do is:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I wasn't going to post one this week, because I'm still reading Gone Girl,. However, this book is seriously awesome and I haven't decided what I'm reading next, so here's another teaser for you.
I caught her looking at me now and then with the same steeled chill with which she looked at our father: just another [crappy]* male taking up space. I'm sure I looked at her through our father's miserable eyes sometimes: just another petty woman resenting me. ~p. 356 from Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn*I feel I should caution that this book does have some inappropriate language. If you're sensitive to that, I don't recommend it.
